Civsy, developed by Mimeta and powered by the Vespa AI Search platform, tracks and analyzes violations of artistic freedom worldwide. Built using Vespa’s hybrid retrieval and explainable ranking capabilities, it unifies fragmented reports, interviews, and media into a transparent, searchable source of truth. By combining verified human data with scalable, multilingual AI search, Civsy helps researchers and policymakers uncover hidden patterns of censorship and act on evidence-based insights, demonstrating how Vespa enables trustworthy, high-impact AI search where accuracy and ethics are essential.

At Civsy, we utilize this cutting-edge technology to provide monitoring and reporting services for our clients.
However, we can also create a customized natural language Search Deck for you, where real-time data and LLMs process the outputs for your precise insights.
Alternatively, we can process a specialized application tailored to domain-specific tasks that benefit from this AI-driven tech stack.

Our Civsy database and search application are now being filled with real data on censorship of art originating from the manual reporting of our researchers network, mainly from the Southwest Asia and North Africa region (SWANA/ MENA) . The reports generated for users of the application with the help of a language model will become more accurate as we complete the application with our own data. At this stage, the searches mainly access our internal data and data stemming from the LLM we use, not the internet.
